Active Chamber Committees

Committees play a vital role in the Brentwood Chamber of Commerce.
By selecting a Chamber Committee, you can match your passion and
interests in service to our community. Committee membership is open
to all Chamber Member firms and their employees. If you would like to

• Business Committee:

  • The Brentwood Chamber of commerce's Business
    Committee, provides forums and activities that create a
    networking environment for a diverse business community.
    This mission is accomplished through education programs,
    new business outreach platforms, and expansion of member
    participation and involvement.
• Membership Committee:

  • The mission of the Membership Committee is to
    strengthen the Chamber's membership base and help it
    grow. This Committee researches new member services
    and programs and makes appropriate recommendations to
    the Board of Directors. It also discusses and reviews ways in
    which to increase and enhance Chamber membership,
    retention, planning membership drives and other events
    aimed at recruitment and retention of members such as
    Member-2-member benefits where members receive special
    discounts from other members.
• Events Committee:

  • The Events committee is responsible for the
    Chamber’s annual special event fundraisers such as our
    Spring Fair, Gala and other functions.
• Public Relations Committee:

  • Members of this active committee assist with the positive
    promotion of the Chamber to the membership and the
    community through all forms of the media including print,
    radio, and television. Members participate in the
    development of quality of life publications, membership
    development materials and Chamber and community
    information that will be available to promote the area in
    print and on the Web.
  • Attends all events and public affairs requiring Chamber
    presence. Solicits public officials as needed.
• Finance & Budget Committee:

  • The Brentwood Chamber of Commerce's Finance
    Committee works with the financial direction and stability of
    the Chamber. Keeps track of Chamber’s income.
• Legal Committee:

  • Reviews Insurance, taxes, legal responsibility of
    Chamber & Board of Directors. Reviews By-Laws.
